WHAT TO EXPECT

Anyone who designs automated vehicular gates is encouraged to attend this two-day school in Indiana from 4/23 - 4/24. Expect a comprehensive program combining lectures, presentations, and hands-on gate system layout activities covering essential topics such as UL 325 for automated gate systems, ASTM F2200, and an introduction to M.U.T.C.D. – Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. Participants will also learn about gate types, gate operators, electrical wiring, access control devices, vehicular detection systems, power failure options, high-security applications, and site considerations. This course serves as an excellent introduction to the gate automation industry, providing a thorough overview of both system design and standards. An optional certification exam will be available after the classroom instruction to demonstrate professionalism and expertise in the industry.
